The Chinese Maternal and infant product e-commerce company Mia (Mia.com) announces that it will cease service on September 10 because of users’ shopping habits change.
The announcement shows that Mia will officially stop serving and shut down on September 10, 2022; before this date, consumer transaction orders will continue to be fulfilled. After the close of Mia App, the company will centrally delete collected information and close registered accounts. It will stop collecting or using consumers and merchants information and data.

Mia will continue to maintain communication channels with consumers and merchants after the shutdown of its App, and will also continue to provide services through its WeChat mini program, according to Mia’s announcement.
Founded in 2011 as China’s first limited-time outlet mall for imported maternal & infant products, Mia became an independent maternal & infant E-commerce platform in 2014, spreading its business into retail, private label and membership marketing. According to reports, Mia implemented a “Plus membership system” which is considered a pyramid selling practice.
